I just got my phone number assigned and have not given the new number out to anyone at all. All of a sudden this evening, this number calls my phone. Clearly a non-solicited caller.
Call came in at 8:58 PM, just under the deadline for sales and collection calls. The number showed as "Private name". My number is on the Do Not Call registry, for all they good that does.
It is Sallie Mae / Navigant calling -- Student Loans -- RoboCall -- seldom leave messages, but sometimes leave a recorded message .....
Today they are calling from Delaware... They also use numbers in Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Indiana and a number of other states... Here are the numbers I'm aware of:
