Breast Cancer telemarketer - if it is real. I know people need money for research and charities do too. Yet people do not approve of me giving away money to charity - I do it too much. When I get money as welfare and expect me to use it for what I need.
I also got a call on my ooma phone, which is not a land line(hooked to the internet)...but used as a house phone. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up, no message left. Its Sunday 5pm and the second time this weekend they've called.
This is a national marketing research company. They've been calling for weeks several times a day every day, including Sundays. I've asked them to stop calling and they still won't. I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau as well as the FTC.
Getting calls from this number every day of the week, multiple times a day with no message ever left. I will not pick up this line, but it's very annoying.
They were calling me everyday for like a week and I do not answer calls when I don't know the number, if its important they leave a message. One day i pressed the ignore button when they called, they haven't called back since then..
This call came across with the caller ID showing AMBREASTCANCER. My phone disconnected the call automatically. From what is being said in previous posts it appears that the call was likely something else other than something about breast cancer. At least my phone thought so. I'm guessing the number is one I flagged before that was from a scammer.
