Recevied a call today, 4/24/12 at 11:09am (interestingly enough, same exact date and time as Victoria!). I, too, missed the call and no voice mail was left.
I just started graduate school and do have a loan that I just took out but it's not with Sallie Mae. I received paperwork on Friday indicating that my loan is now handled by Great Lakes (I believe... recalling from memory since I'm still at work right now). So why would Sallie Mae be calling me? If this is a third party and they got a database, I'm going to be VERY unhappy....
Call came in to my landline and my 2 wireless lines almost simultaneously from CID 302-283-2983 Newark DE. Prerecorded message about the FBI reporting break-ins and then a pitch for an alarm system. When I answered my land line, they hung up after I pressed 1. My land line and wireless lines have all been on the National Do Not Call registry since 2003.
