I have been receiving phone calls from this number every day. I am disabled and have my number listed on the national "do not call" registry. I do not have any outstanding debt with anyone. It is hard for me to keep answering these phone calls and I am very frustrated!!!!!!
How about you do some research on salie mae and then you should go tell them to stop harassing people and take responsibility rather than beating money out of the poor who have nothing.
This number started calling out of the blue yesterday up to four times a day. From what I could look up online it says it's Sallie Mae (student loan place). We have nothing to do with them and never have, When you call the number back to complain to them it says it not a working number.
I get calls from this number beginning at 8:30 a.m. and not stopping until approx 8:30 p.m., usually once per hour. I'm on a do not call list but I guess that it doesn't matter if you are using your ISP "bundled phone". This has gotta stop...don't know how!!!!
Called the number back...Newark, DE. Verizon Service. Sallie Mae. Actually got a real person!!! Told them to stop (approx 12 call/day) or I will contact the Delaware Atty Gen. office. He assured me that they would stop within 24-48 hrs. Which means that they are pre-programed "Robocalls". We'll see.
This number is from Sallie Mae & every time I answer there is nobody on the line. This has happened 3-4 times a day for the past week. If there were an actual person on the line I would be able to tell them that I do not have a Sallie Mae loan & just how annoying their calls are!
