SCAM bigtime! Those errors you saw are harmless and do not indicate a virus, malware or that your computer was going to crash. Had you let him onto your computer, he would probably have caused it to malfunction to extort money from you to "fix" it. He would likely have installed malicious software that would send your logins, passwords, credit card numbers, bank info etc to him whenever your were online. Microsoft has warnings about this scam on their website:
Someone calling himself Gary #1046 said he was calling from Windows Service center. While I wasn't online he had me check computer management under my windows operationing system which showed a lot of errors. He then tried to get me to download teamviewer.com so that he could share my screen to fix the problems. Said it would speed up my computer which really is running slow. I couldn't understand him very well due to his thick accent. I felt like it might be a scam so I hung up.

Same thing happened to me today- a guy called from "unavailable unknown" number said he was calling from Windows and kept being very pushy for me to go onto my computer because he said I had a "malicious virus". I could hardly understand him as well and could tell he was calling from somewhere far away because when I answered it took awhile for him to say anything. He said there have been downloads on my computer I don' t know about causing this malicious virus and that's why my computer is very slow. Thinking this could possibly be a scam because he seemed very pushy I asked for the phone number to call him back. He gave me this one. I asked for a 1-800 number- since he is apparently calling from a major company there should be a 1-800 number. He then said "I'm sorry I can't help you" LOL be careful!!
