This caller called saying that I owe money from getting a payday loan. I have never gotten a pay day loan in my life. This is a scam!!! Don't pay these scumbags a rusted cent!
This scammer called an aunt I do not talk to often and have not seen in years continuously until she contacted me and asked me to contact them. They stated they were a mediation company for a payday loan that I supposedly took out in 2013 and they were trying to keep it from going to a collections agency. Pay day loans are illegal in my state so even if I had wanted to take one I would not have been able to. They scarily knew all of my info including address, phone number, checking account number, and social. I have filed a report with the FTC and will be filing a report with my state's attorney general and the local police. They called themselves "Global Services Group" which is being investigated by the FTC. I believe they called this particular relative because they could get her info on the internet due to her job. I'm guessing they got her name from social media. DO NOT answer their calls!!
