This number has called numerous times, want to lower our credit card interest. LOL no credit cards here, scam, going to report to the do not call registry but have got other calls like this and they just keep coming.they need to stop.
"Phone spam" - offering to lower credit card interest rates. I'm sure they are not affiliated with the major credit card companies, so I don't know what their scam is -- but CERTAINLY it's a scam.
I called back to the originating phone number - voice recording said "This is a phone number for outgoing promotional messages" and said the number could not receive incoming calls. Called back 2nd time (to try to catch the firm's name --something like "American Customer Service"-- ??) and a woman answered! I asked "What is this company; isn't this illegal", she said "No it's not illegal", I said "I'm on DO NOT CALL" and she hung up.
These people are scum; besides that, if your phone service has restricted minutes they waste your minutes (and money).
I am getting more and more of these calls lately and even with my blocking them they go through. Aslo text messages... How can these be stopped? is there a Do Not Call that we can register through?
They call all the time, waking me up in the evening. Claims to want to lower my credit card interest rate. I told them not to call again. He told me I called him and he talked to people like me all day long. Was verbally abused by person on the other end. I have to say no one has ever talked to me like that.
I got several calls from this number for the past month. Only recently, I answered the call. First, you will hear a recorder then you have the option to speak to someone. I chose to speak to someone. A female voice came on and said that she is from Card Services and would you like to know if I want lower my APR to 6%. I asked her that I did not know what is Card Services and if she could tell me which credit card this is for? She said to look on the back of your credit card. I told her if I decide that I want to lower my APR, I will call back.
