This is a VIOP.  It is part of a housing scam...they send you a check for rent of housing and the check bounces.  You are left hanging for the amount of check and they get your personal information.

Omg i went to cash the check today,good thing the teller can tell a fraudulent check!!It's a scam they found me on craigslist
