Is this your personal reader board? Under dunbazz or dunbass? Because your post to us out here was/is condescending::: telling readers to (******READ MY WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU MAKE YOUR POST*****-Then simply report what happened-PERIOD.) Then your post was a half mile long. I thought this was a forum to help others relieve some anxiety/ stress while learning that this scam is an epidemic, they are not singled out, dumbazz, were not here to be TALKED DOWN TO! But if this is YOUR PAGE then excuse me for my opinion. I will not be back. And hopefully***** I PRaY I WILL NOT COME ACROSS YOUR IMPORTANT POSTS EVER AGAIN. YOU ARE SUCH A SPECIAL PERSON, I DO NOT WANT TO WASTE ANY OF MY TIME ON YOU again. Sure hope you never get scammed, it sucks. BUT you sound like JUST MAYBE your the jazz doing the scamming on the other end of our phones.
A male with an India or Arabic accent called about my computer. That is when I disconnected the call because still felt a little shame for giving info(but not anything important) in a scam call not even five minutes ago
Do not give information to anyone about your computer. Microsoft will NEVER call!! A guy in my town gave them all they wanted and they cleaned his account!
While Pratt gave out info they should not have they did do the right thing by hanging up.
This is a scam that nefarious entities use to dupe people into allowing them into their computers for the purpose of data theft (e.g.: banking info and other personal info that should NEVER be put through a home computer) and also to plant mal-ware which turns the compromised computer into a spam-spewing Zombie computer within a Botnet. Don't know what those terms mean??? Look them up and LEARN!!!
***REMEMBER!!! Software companies NEVER, EVER make calls like this!!!! They just do NOT do it!!!!***
