I called them back and heard a short, partial message to "enter your 10-digit phone number after the beep to be removed from their list" Never heard the beep but entered my cell # anyway. We'll see.
Nobody on the line; the line went dead after about 30seconds. Reverse look-up puts it in Delaware. I'm in Ontario. Will report as a DNCL complaint.
BTW: I know that these ignorant and abusive pie-holes are very frustrating, but telling us that you didn't answer the phone does not really help us to figger out the source or nature of the call.
Call from 302-394-6831 @ 12:41 pm in Ottawa. Odd thing is that is was somebody I know calling from their home number w/o power, but I did not answer because it was an unfamiliar number. Very strange. Called the number back and they ID themselves as telemarketers with an option to be removed from their list within 72 hrs. I selected that option so we will see if they abide by it.
i was directed to press 1 to speak to representative. when a person picked up, i immediately asked for the name of the company. the response was simply 'financial services'. the marketer then asked if i wanted lower credit card rates. i responded with the fact that my number is on the do not call list and the line immediately went dead.
