wanted to speak with "the owner" about GSA contracts with the government. Told them I was not a corporation. Had something similar a number of years earlier. That one was a scam. IMHO, this one probably was as well. I could hear lots of talking in the background.
Did you get this messege? "I'm calling on behalf of consulting firm that locates businesses for Federal Government contracts. To discuss contract details on how to increase your revenue. Please return my call as soon as possible..." It' s Bogus.

Called today to speak to the owner about GSA contracts. I placed them on hold briefly and they hung up. Whatever it is that they're trying to sell or market, they aren't doing a very good job.
Call center on behalf of one or more for-profit companies selling GSA contract services. They get your number through GSA contractor registration which is publicly posted If you or your company has ever done business with the Federal Government and/or State and local governments. Since these rolls are not constantly updated, they may have old phone numbers that have been re-assigned. They also can get your info through LinkedIn, Company websites or other social media. They definitely use dummy numbers as the call comes in through Delaware, but the call back number on the voice mail is in Anderson, SC. I believe that any company soliciting by telephone has to identify itself by company name. This one leaves a message from "Tiffany", but never gives the company name. The number where they called me is a business number and registered with SAM - Federal Government Systems for Award Management, and interestingly, I just renewed the registration yesterday and the calls started today. I would suggest filing a complaint with FTC and blocking the number.
