Got a recorded call telling me I had to be available to be served documents tomorrow aft and if I wanted to stop it to call the "filing party" at 866-593-8375. Called that number and got a voice mail saying it was "John Anthony's office". A minute later I got a call back from 716-770-1203 that was a hang up. A few minutes later I got a call from 302-450-1317 that was a hang up. Having had enough of this nonsense I called the 716 number and was told it was Northwestern Recovery about a medical debt that was well over 7-years old. I asked for their state collection agency number and was told they did not have to give me that, I asked for a fax number to send a cease and desist contact letter and they refused to give me that, I told them I was not paying and they hung up. This is a pathetic attempt to intimidate people to call an unlicensed (I did check my state and they are not licensed) collection agency to pay old and often uncollectable debts.

You are going to need to make yourself available tomorrow between 12 and 5. If you have any questions or want a stop order on the service you must contact the filing party at (left a number). Then follows up with a call threatening to come to my place of employment under the same conditions.
