Looks like a big scam to me.
Looked at FCC site - and if it's not an email address, this type of scam is not illegal! It appears that this is true even in Washington State which has a strong anti-spam law on the books (which requires that all commercial email going out be with the express consent of the receiver). Looks like the spammers are getting ever craftier - while potentially running up the bill of people who don't have unlimited text.
