Yes this is a scam. I deposited this so called $1,995.00 check in my acct and three days letter thr fraud dept from my bank calls me and explained that these people are doing this illegally to try to get into your bank acct. I closed mine out today. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID> Felt like an idiot in my own bank. How embarrassing and humiliating!!! Jerks!!!
Read the letter it tells you where to go to log in and it gives you your user id and password on the letter. I am going to call the bank tomorrow to find out if the check is legitimate
If you deposit a fraudulent check it is to late..the other side has just gotten you acct# and routing # and your bank acct will be depleted of fund...:O(
