Who called from 3026901330

Yes yet another "IRS" phone call ... you are being sued. I am reporting this number to the IRS fraud department just like the one I did yesterday. This call came at 7:30AM California time which also breaks another federal law to not call before 8:00AM. I tried calling back right away to give the caller an earful and to let them know they were being reported to the REAL IRS. Of course they don't answer.
Crooks never answer when they are about to get caught. PLEASE REPORT THIS NUMBER AS WELL IF YOU GET IT TO: [email protected].

I received calls from this number 302-690-1330, these calls are unwanted and I have blocked this caller.

Message left on voice mail by a woman with a very serious voice: "Internal Revenue Service. The reason for this call is to inform you that the Internal Revenue Service is filing a lawsuit against you..."  Etc, etc. Designed to scare the pants off of a taxpayer just two or three days after the tax deadline. However, it's easy to tell that this is a scam. First, the IRS does not call people and warn them about lawsuits. Second, the caller did not leave a case number. Third, she did not state her own name or the name of a person to contact. Fourth, Caller ID came up as "Wireless caller."

By the way, it's against the law to pretend to be a government employee.
