This number appearing on your Caller ID is forged. This is an overseas call center. First dead air, then a heavy foreign accent, asking for a business name that hasn't had this number in years (this is a private residence). Every week it's a different one (all showing forged ID's), they just sell it on and on...can't touch them as they're fronted from overseas. So much for the joke that is the "Do Not Call" list. Our government is too busy feeding their pet pigs on Wall Street to ever actually do something about things like this.
Got five calls in two hours. Did not answer calls, no ID. Called number back and recieved busy signal. Called number back again and the number has been disconnected.

These people are relentless, and ridiculously silly. I have answered their "address verification" for the "online yellow pages" numerous times, and they continue to call and disrupt our business. How is this even legal? There ought to be a way to report this harassment.
Received a call at 9:02 this morning. First dead air then a very Indian sounding man asking for a former (business) owner of my number. Told him that this hadn't been their number for over two years and he just hung up on me. I assume, from other calls I've received for that business, that it's a Collections House of some kind.
