Got called from 302-864-2389 while I was away from the office. Their voicemail (real person) said they got a claim in their office with my name and SSN. Like other calls of this nature there was no company name given, or extension to call. All they said was that they'd have to proceed in the next 24-48 business hours on the matter.
Sounds like a scam to me. I think a real company would give their name and the name of the person calling.
Got a call from this number as well, spoke with a very professional lady that actually did have an account in the office that i owed. I was searching for the agency that had this account due to it not being listed on my cbr what agency had my account. Legit company guys, gave me validation of my debt and reported to my cbr, not all companies are scams you just have to be careful and pay your bills. I think as consumers we look for all types of reasons not to pay a bill... So who's the scammer? Pay your bills people. Bill collectors are doing a job. God bless
