I received a call today from the same number, the caller's name is Kevin Brown. He was insistant that I stay on the line, I told him to give me his number and I would call him back. Two minutes laterhe calle back, I told him not to call again or I would call the police.
This caller is a call center that has a scam claiming to be from Windows Support and will try to sell you a software security program for your computer. Do not allow them into your computer. Do not purchase a 'protection program' that you do not require since all this does is allow them access to your personal data each time you connect into the Internet. The caller identified himself as 'Jack Anderson' but sounded like he was from south Asia, and claimed to be calling from Delaware. There was nothing wrong with my computer but I fell for the scam with their fear techniques that my data being 'corrupted'. I challenged this scam via my Master Card credit card dispute/fraud dept. and was reimbursed.

I just got a call from the same scam center giving the same number when I asked him for it. He also told me his name was Jack Anderson with the thickest Indian accent understandable. I actually am an IT technician so I automatically knew better but I was bored and decided to play with him for a while and then make him sweat. I asked him questions that left him with what I can only imagine was the "deer in the headlights" look on his face. By the time I got done with him, not only did he not even get to the credit card fraud part of his scam, he was very anxious and more than happy to just get me off of his line. SMH
