got a phone call from 305-000-0104. Someone praying on the elderly trying to scam $3600. If you recently had a Medical Alert system installed you need to contact them. There may be a security breach with private information of elderly.
A number on the caller ID indicates a call has been received, but no voice message has been left. When a return call to the number is place, I'm told it doesn't exist.
The number, as shown on the caller id is: 1-305-000-0 104 (aka 1-305-000-0104) with the caller identified as "Unknown."
A Google search on 1-305-000-0104 brought me to www.800notes.com.
This number doesn't match to anyone or any business with which I have ever knowingly communicated in the past. Unfortunately, I can only guess this is the beginning of a series of harrassing calls. Anyone know anything about this number and how to get rid of the people behind it?
I have recieved two calls from 305-000-0104 today alone (and 1 again on sunday) If I answer, I get greeted with a dead line (not even a marketing message, go figure). If I let 4 rings go and my answering machine pick up, I get some recording telling me that I can get a better interest rate on my credit card if I press 1 now. This could be a scam, but regardless if they gave contact information, I would report them to the FCC since I am on the do-not-call list.
Got call today, and answered. The recorded voice pitched that I was going to lose my auto insurance, and that I should act today to renew. -- none of which was true.
Received a call from 305-000-0104 at work - there was a recorded message that my auto warranty was about to expire and to renew it press 1 to call them back. I dont have any expiring warranty on my vehicle. Pressed 1 and the call disconnected. If they are telemarkets, they are not very good.
Got a call from 305-000-0104 about a warranty for automobile. When I told them that the number they are calling is a business, but promptly hanged up. Very rude.
