Unbelievable these people call night and day asking for the owner of our company! We've told these people numerous times that we are not interested in their services and they continue to call and harass us! I'm about to report these people to the phone company! When they call they say different names and they give different company name each time. On our caller ID it shows SMS. They say that they can put $50,000 in our owner bank account so obviously this sounds like a scam. A lady even showed up to our office twice saying that she had an appointment with our owner, and that was so untrue! Beware! These people are very persistant and annoying and calling our office unecessarily! If they call you and keep calling you, report it to your local phone company!!!
The company's info can be found here:

And I quote:
"International Profit Associates (IPA) solicits businesses nationwide for the purpose of providing consulting services primarily to small and medium size business. IPA offers an evaluation of the businesses and its financial activities. After the initial evaluation IPA may recommend additional needed services. A contractual agreement is drawn up regarding certain specific services at an agreed upon price. These services include additional charges for each consultant required to complete the tasks along with their travel and lodging expenses."
"Government Actions
On April 22, 2009, Attorney General Lisa Madigan filed a lawsuit in Cook County Circuit Court against International Profit Associates, Inc. (IPA)and its owner John R. Burgess. The suit alleges that the defendants use wide-ranging deceptive practices to ensnare hundreds of small-business clients into consulting service contracts that fail to fulfill the defendants' promises to boost their clients' bottom lines."
"Madigan's lawsuit alleges that IPA employs deceptive, high-pressure sales tactics to trap small businesses into management consulting contracts by falsely promising that the businesses will earn increased profits as a result of IPA's consulting services. Contrary to these promises, IPA typically charges the small businesses tens of thousands of dollars for services that fail to provide any constructive or useful information and do not result in any increased profits."
They go by many different names; SMS, GPS, ABS, etc.
