Rob hammer is the most un humane person you will ever meet. Treys everyone with disprespect and call you lazy for not wanting to throw your own dog in the garbage. Do not use his services you will regret it. There are other options out there with better attitude.
Let me clarify why this lady is upset with me. She called and said that she was told to put her dog that had been hit by a car in a bag by the side of the road and she was angry that nobody had come to pick it up. When she called to complain, I told her that it was not the county's responsibility to deal w her pet. She then asked "What do you do with the dog"? A very common question. I explained to her that all DOA's in Miami go to the land fill where they are buried. (unless the animal is going to be cremated). She then gets an attitude with me telling me that I need to be more sympathetic. I treated her like an adult just like I treat everyone, she wanted me to treat her like a child and I'm not going to do that. She then said that she was being "forced" to use our company with a very snotty attitude. It was at this point that I told her that she was NOT forced to use us and that she called us because she was lazy and didn't want to deal with her own pet and that I WOULD NOT PICK UP HER ANIMAL due to her attitude. This is not a glorious job and I refuse to be treated like a sanitation worker when I bend over backwards to help people. We've been in business 23 yrs and YOURS is the first complaint about my "attitude". Maybe if you treat people like you would like to be treated you would find more happiness.
