The customer order through the chat line and the Sales Representitive flag it as odd. Shipping to an alternate address is LA. Called up the credit card company and the expiration date given was invalid, the phone number didn't match and the alternate address was not attached to the card given. Cancelled order.
We received a call from 409-356-6026 (TX) with an order for 50 pieces of glass. We received a credit card number, but the caller was not the owner of the card (he admitted). Everything about this transaction seemed strange. We contacted the CC company and found another card had been issued to this account. They would not tell me if the original card was cancelled. I contacted the customer and asked for the card owner to call me. Another foreign accented person was on the line claiming to be the card owner, but it took him a minute to give me the spelling of his name. The number he called from was 305-280-3065. The same number as above. I am not sure how this scam works, but we will be cancelling the order from this customer.
