I'm happy that I've found this site, cause I also received an E-Mail of this strange William Clar, which immediately made me sceptic. He send me both the German as well as the English version, it came from "[email protected]":

Gebühren, Stornierungen, und Make-up-Unterricht. Ich möchte eine Stunde Unterricht in einer
Woche für sie, ausgehend von 18. Dezember. Wir freuen uns von Ihnen zu hören.

So I am a music teacher, and low and behold this guy also wrote to me last week. I totally fell for it until I thought about the William & Mary aspect - to square. I am so glad I only sent them my rates and phone number - no address. Keep your eyes out for this creep. Here is his second message to me:

A little about me and Mary: I'm a single dad and I want the best for my daughter,Mary. I recently moved down to the USA for a new job appointment which will not allow me to come for "meet and greet"interviews before the lessons commence. Mary is living right there with my cousin and would be coming for the lessons from my cousin's location which is very close to you. Mary and my cousin are currently outside the state for a funeral and will be back in time to start her lessons. I would be more than happy if you could handle Mary very well for me and she has promised to work hard with you.

Regarding the fee, I want to pay for a three month worth of lessons in advance which I figured out to be $480 and I'm paying through a Check. Hope this is okay with you?I would be more than happy if you can accept Mary as one of your students and start with her on Wednesday, December 10. Looking forward to hearing from you again.
