I RECEIVE PHONE CALLS FROM THIS COMPANY AT MY LAW OFFICE ON A REGULAR BASIS. NO ONE EMPLOYED HERE HAS EVER GONE TO OR DONATED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI. WE HAVE ASKED THEM, WHEN SOMEONE ACTUALLY DOES GET ON THE LINE, TO STOP CALLING.

My wife works for UM and outgoing calls from them show up like this. It could be any number of things. Best way to have them stop calling would be to answer and address the person.
This is the "Calling Canes" hotline. I just telephoned them. I told them I wanted to be removed from the record. I am also an alumnus.
I attended U of M because the school was amazing. I have my own personal reasons for not donating, but I still appreciate the fact that the kids are just trying to make $$. However, the calls are quite annoying. If all else fails, put this on your "silent ring" or "ignore call" list via your phone (works with Smart Phones. If all else fails, just ignore.
