I got a phone call from this guy with an accent stating cops were goin to show up at my house wat abunch of crap if he calls again im gunna call fair trade offuce hope he gets caught. Lol
I received a call tonight and a man with a strong accent told me that he was calling on behalf of his client. He said I took out a loan with a Payday Loan and I didn't pay it. He told me my last 4 digits of my Social and my phone number and address at work. He said if I didn't pay that the would arrest me and I would be taken out of my office in cuffs tomorrow morning. He was pretty nasty sounding and serious. He repeated the information again and I told him to call me in the morning because I was at a dr appt. He said - he couldn't wait until tomorrow morning cuz his client needed info tonight. I said I could speak with him right now and he said oh well and hung up. I believe this is a scam to get money.
Got a call a few minutes ago from a women with a heavy foreign accent asking if I have a retained attorney for this matter. I informed them the call was being recorded on my end and that I was going to turn it over to the sheriff where I live. She got nasty and cussed me out then hung up. This is a scam and under no circumstances should anyone verify any information with them. Good luck to others who recieve the same call.
