Come on folks. No one but you can help you. Would a legitimate concern call a cell phone? No.
These people laugh at the Do Not Call list and associated restrictions. They spoof numbers; it says Florida, but could just as easily be California.
If you have caller ID and let the machine screen calls, they will eventually stop calling. When you personally pick up, it gives them: first, a chance to scam you and, second, a good number to sell to other scammers. If you "press a number", your number is gold.
My phone lets me block numbers. This model rings once, others do not ring. My cell phone lets me assign "no ringer" to my junk calls.
Technology helps us against them. We need it because their robo-dialers are searching for the next sucker directly following each call.
