A man called who spoke spanish. He knew my name, but he seemed to be asking for a donation? Don't know for sure, because he talked so fast and I could not decipher quickly. He could not speak English and ended the call. (??)
Got 3 calls today, I think my mistake was answering. The phones says "Mufflers for Less" in the caller ID for 305-300-1000, and when I answered the guy asked for whomever handles my electric bill (doesn't add up). When I tried to block it, I couldn't. Finally called back until the guy answered and he said some spoofing company has gotten his number and he has been getting these calls all day, that he never called me.
I answered this call and it was from Champion Energy and I think they wanted me to change electricity providers. He started by asking to speak to the person responsible for the electric bill, and I said that's me. He then went into script, and ended by saying he could put on hold while I went to go get a number off my current electric bill. I then said I wasn't interested and he hung up on me.
I also keep getting this phone calls everyday at 7:20 pm for the last couple of weeks. I think is just a trap so you from this cell phone locators so you curious people pay $29.99 to find out who owns this phone #. don't doit, just ignore the call.
