This number called me at 10:30pm. When I called back it was not english but im not going to stop trying to call because 10:30pm is way to late to be calling someone. I have a couple of words for whoever is calling me.
SPANISH SPEAKING COLLECTORS LOOKING FOR "ROBERTO". THEY CALL ME 4 TIMES A DAY FROM DIFFERENT #'S. I HAVE TOLD THEM SEVERAL TIMES IN ENGLISH, AND MY SPANGLISH THAT THEY HAVE THE WRONG # AND THEY STILL CONTINUE TO CALL. I TOLD THEM THIS LAST TIME I WAS CALLING IMMAGRATION AND THEY HUNG UP. HOW DO I GET THIS TO STOP. APPARENTLY NONE OF THE SPEAK ANY ENGLISH.
It's a spanish automated message saying "Congratulations you have won a prize. Press 1 to claim it." A pp says they ask for your credit card #. There is no option to opt out or speak with anyone. I also got a message saying vm is full when I call.
This is so annoying. They call me in CA at 6am two days in a row. Andrew, thanks for the link. I'm going to file a complaint.
In my experience, this is not a debt collector. Since its a recorded message, we can file a complain with the FTC at www.complaints.donotcall.gov even if your number is not registered on the Do Not Call registry. Hopefully more people will and they can stop this craziness. Please FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC.
