These people have called my office, my house, and cell phone I believe they are using phone number spoofing it's the same person. "Jill from the vehicle warranty Center how you doing today?" They have called me at least 15 times. The last time she called I said "Jill if you call me one more time I will hunt you down like the dog you are, and commence to kicking your A@%!" Hoped that worked.
Personally, we haven't been bothered by the ah's from the 202 area code yet, but I've seen posts of many that have been. It definitely has many numbers to be suspicious of! Those spoofed numbers seen to be a favorite of the computer scammers, and the IRS scammers, who, due to their very poor language skills, are less likely to be taken seriously. They actually are quite humorous, but can be annoying, and a threat to those not aware of their scam.
