Man heavy accent. Knew my wife's name. asked if she had a back problem. and needed a brace. then asked if there was some that was a diabetic. I asked him questions. He hung up.
Man called my parents house and of course my mom picked up without looking at caller id. Asked for her by her full name, then proceeded to say if she had any plumbing problems. She asked who he was and he said something Castillo (didn't catch) first name. She finally hung up, told me about it and I knew it had to be some type of scam. I looked at the caller id and seen it was from the South Florida area code which was weird. Why would someone from SF call for plumbing, red flags went up. I called the number back from my cell phone and my car and no one picked up just rings. My parents phone is also on the Do Not Call List and it is also a non-published number so how they get the number...I am filing a complaint with the FTC and our state attorney general's office, I suggest everyone do the same.
Called, left no message.

My number is on the Do not call list. From other comments above, the list is useless against this type of calls. And, why are foreign companies carrying out this type of operations int he US? Any licenses?
