That fellow was in Jamaica. And yes he is a scammer. 876 numbers are Jamaican and this is a scam that has been going on for some time now. I was surprised to see that they are using the 305 number out of florida though. Do not call them back on the 876 number because it is an international call and will cost the pants off you.

Caller was mr anderson and said i had $850000 dollars and a Mercede 2013 ready to be delivered from Casper, Wyoming. Gave a long number that was supposed to be my confirmation number. Was calling from 876-522-3402. I gave him a bogus address and played along. He insisted he wasn't a scam and that the money and car could be just given to charity. I asked the name of his company and the number to call them, to which he gave me this number 305-320-4252. His company was Called Silver Star Enterprise. When I called that number there was a recorded message saying it was a certified number from the United States. As I was on that call, he called me from the 305 number. Has an accent possibly from India, hard to understand. After telling him I wasn't interested, he hung up on me. When I tried calling the number again, the last time which he answered the 876 number, but this time it rang a few times then went into a busy out of order sound. He didn't try to get money from me so I don't know what his scam is but it definitely is a scam. After I tried calling him back I got a call from the number saying they just got a call from this number and I told him who I was and that I reported him to the authorities and they told me that it was a scam and not to worry about it. When I told him that he just hung up on me again.

Got a scam call from 305-320-4252.O.D. Anderson ,Gen. manager. He told me I had won 950,000 and a new car, free gas, and insurance. I was one lucky angel. He wanted me to go to Walmart and buy a money gram for 499. 03 to pay for shipping and handling fee. He said the team was in route and two hours away to deliver my check and car. I needed to dress up for their visit to take pictures. I told him only scammers required money to win a prize. He assured me this was no scam. He would talk to the owner of this company to see if he would waiver the fee. Mr. O. D. Anderson called me back and said they would waiver the fee since I thought this was a scam. He told me it was getting late today to deliver and he would call me again tomorrow. I told him I would take anything that was free.He better know my address, because I am not giving out any personal information. Watch out for this one. The phone # is listed in Marathon Fla.
