When I first picked up, I heard background noise but nobody answered me. I had to give the greeting again and then a man with an Indian accent asked to speak to the business owner without saying why he was calling or where he was calling from. I repeated (again) that we were a school. He wished me the best for our school, but then stayed on the line and didn't hang up. I hung up on him. Have a feeling they'll be calling again.
Ok guys and gals on this post. Here's what you do. I just had about 10 minutes of fun with these foreign people and I am still chuckling about it. Muster up an indian accent. There is a lot of tongue rolling and it maybe good to have a jelly bean in your mouth to get the rolling of the accent. Start out with Tank u berry much. Than proceed to ask for the business owner as you would like a loan. From there just keep making crap up and keep them on the line for 10 minutes. Then say you need to talk to your associate and you will get back to them. Then say tank u berry much. I swear it made my day so good I did it 3 times to 3 of these fools. Do it you won't regret smiling while you are speaking.
This is a 'phishing' scam. they are pretending to offer you an unsecured line of credit for your business, but they really want your financial info to scam you out of your money.
The number is a fake, just like the business name and the name of the individual calling you.

call them back to ask to be taken off call list. Man says he needs our service. I said ok tell me what kind of service my company offers.
He promptly hangs up. SCAM
Call reject list if you can
Loud call center. Man asks for the owner of our business. I asked him if this was regarding a job that we were currently doing. He said no and that this was regarding a serious financial business matter. I asked exactly what did it involve. He repeated his line. I hung up.
