They want to reduce the interest on my "current credit card account". Ya, right. But, of course, they don't have that info, they want you to give it to them. Credit Card account #, exp. date, security code, SS#. all your personal info.
Called our mid-Florida land line at 11.57a on 2/6/14. They left no message, but then these scammers never do. They left a bullstuff ID of V followed by about fourteen random numbers.
This time they actually claimed to be Visa, not just "card services," and they said they can lower my interest rate to 6%... first of all, ON WHAT PLANET? You've got to be a moron to believe that Visa is going to call you out of the blue and knock 3-18% off of your interest rates no questions asked. These folks need a new scam. I can't believe this one trick pony hasn't been brought down yet.
They also do not acknowledge my request to be taken off their list when I tell them I'm on the US Government's no call list. Instead they hang up.
