The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!
the message came on about lowering my credit interest yada, yada recording, so I know what the spill is (had those before) so to get rid of them I pressed the number to tell then I am on the do not call registry and got an attitude and heavy breathing with a hang up after I said it was a scam.
This is a credit card scam. They only want your credit card numbers so they can steal them. This caller used a number out of Miami. Other numbers used are 706-805-1777 and 805-219-6022. If donotcall.gov would simply shut these people down for fraud, we would not be receiving these call, but the government does not seem to respond effectively.
All part of getting American's to exercise. No, not really. You are probably being called by foreign, or domestic criminals faking their phone number. (1) Do not answer numbers you do not know (2) Do not call back numbers you do not know (Look them up first) (3) If you MUST take the call, hang up right away if it's someone you do not want to talk to. Please think of your phone as you would your house, or car. Protect it. Invest in a call blocking app for a cell phone, blocking device for a landline.
I got a call today from 305-368-8224. This is not the first time. They have called SEVERAL times before and my husband has answered. When they offer "Credit Card" services........my husband laughs out loud at them and informs them...not to call back....AS WE HAVE NO CREDIT CARDS. and we don't
