The "card services" scammers sure are "working" late, for a Saturday. They must not have been able to scam enough people to "earn" commission money, sufficient to pay for their addictions, to hold them over until Monday.
I just received a call from this number (4:58 pm) eastern time. Recording said they were calling about lowering my credit card rate. When I pressed "9" to speak to a representative, she paused, then asked if I was calling about my credit card rate, as if there were other calls she was taking pertaining to other "scams" and she had to choose the correct dialogue to recite. I said, "yes, that is why I'm calling", then proceeded to nicely explain that the number called is on the "do not call" list. She immediately hung up on me
Received a call from these folks at 2:20pm today, Sunday, March 30. Caller ID stated only "Florida" and no message was left. Clearly a spam/scam call, and I , too, am on the "Do Not Call" list.
The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers yo these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!
Received a call at exactly 12:05 P.M. EST from these people. Having been the unfortunate victims of one of these scams in the past (said they were calling from "Windows" and that our computer was sending "windows" messages that there was a
problem with the program and they offered to fix it - earth to "Windows"). Boy, were we stupid!. Took us 3 months to unravel the problems that with our credit card.
Having been victimized once, we now NEVER pick-up the phone if we do not recognize the caller.
