The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!
CREDIT CARD SCAMMER!! THEY SAY THIS IS YOUR CREDIT CARD CALLING THEY CALLED ME AND ASKED ME TO HANG ON BECAUSE I ASKED THEN TO TAKE ME OFF THEIR LIST. NEVER MENTIONED CREDIT CARD COMPANY NAME. BE AWARE
Received a call from the same number as the above people have. My question is what does all these complains about these scam people help us? I have read all the comments and I understand their frustration but who is going to stop them.
I receive at least 9 calls per day and yet no one seems to be able to stop these calls. I never answer my phone when I get these calls.

The reports are quite helpful when somebody sees an unknown number on their Caller ID. Checking here may tell the searcher if the calling number is a known telescammer. The numbers are also useful for people who like to add numbers to their call blockers, to proactively block calls from those telescammers. In other words, the numbers are aids for people to help themselves, rather than depend on "the government" to do things for them.
Your action, not answering the phone, is a good one. However, the phone still rings, doesn't it? Most call blockers will allow the phone to ring once ... not multiple times.
Called 5 times in the last two hours. I did not answer. ID says "Florida call". Last week it was "Iowa Call". Week before that it was "Kansas call".
Until the phone companies actually assign caller ID tags to much like we have numbers assigned to license plates that belong to cars registered to our names, this will never stop. I am puzzled why, if we can add so many scammers per day to sites like this, why can't the Powers That Be even at the phone companies see these numbers and deactivate them. Take this number. You have people complaining, it's a bogus number being used for illegal activity. Shut the number off. There are doznes of pages on here reporting the same number over months if not years yet it is still in service. Pages reporting the same company name, still scamming away. How hard is it? Seriously.
SITE OWNER -- please add "Scammers" or "Phishers" or "Warning!" listed on the "call type" drop down menu here so we can be more honest and warn each other of the call types? Calls like this are not in any of the categories listed here. These kind of calls are not funny, and none of your items even come close to describing most of what is reported here
