10:47 A.M. CT on September 9, 2014: Received a call from these clowns, but I didn't answer, and they left no message.
If by any chance they ARE the same Card Services scammers from years back, then someone really needs to put a bounty on these moneygrubbers and have them locked away for life. Forgive my histrionics, but I'm getting so sick of this inconvenient nonsense.
These ARE the same type of scammers. The card services scam has been going on for years, run by various groups, but always using the same come-on, lowering interest rates on credit cards. They also go by other names such as 'lower interest', 'consumer services', 'first consumer', 'debt reduction', and simply 'survey' among others. The main objective of their calls, is to fool people into giving them their credit card numbers, by insinuating they are connected with the legitimate credit card issuers.
Got a call from them on my land line today. Since I didn't recognize the number on my caller ID, I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message, so it is probably fair to assume the same bunch is still at it!

I just got one of those calls and pressed 9 to speak to the rep. Some 20 year old punkie kid with a foreign accent came on the line. I acted old and confused as I tried to tell him that I don't have a credit card. He said exactly to me "OK [***]"...I let loose on him after that. I use to keep a whistle next to my phone for prank calls (blast their ears a bit) guess it's time to go shopping for a new one.
