Got a call from Florida 305-368-8815 at 3:33pm listened and Pressed 9 to speek with someone then started hollering told him take my number off your list I am on the National do not call list and I don't even own a credit card to lower my rates then, a moment of silence and I asked are you still there jacka$$ and he replied bl¢₩ me m&/#f* f&-;#r and hung up, then the phone rang with an Ontario number 905-675-8878 at3:34pm which was him telling me to do nasty things to him I laughed hysterically and hung up ! Where do these people come from I tried to call both numbers back but you get a busy signal on the Florida one and the Ontario one says it's not a working number.
Continual, annoying calls from this #. I do not know anyone in the Florida area so I do not answer, Please stop these calls - this is very disturbing to me!
It is one of those credit card interest-lowering scam calls. I pushed 9 to speak to a representative and was connected to an Indian guy. I told him I was on the "Do Not Call" and to NEVER call me again!
This is one of those operations who claim to be able to lower your credit card interest rate if you have a large amount of debt. I was curious and pressed 9 for a representative. I was connected to an Indian guy, so it probably is a boiler room in India.
Just got a robo-call from this # saying "We're from card services. If you would like to lower your credit card interest rate to 6%, press #9." I pressed #9 b/c I had no idea who they were and thought it a scam. An Indian man answered; the background noise said he was in some sort of boiler-room. After several failed attempts to get him to verify who he was with (said "We work with Chase, Bank of America, Citi...."), he tried to get me to talk about how much credit card debt I have. I got him to throw out a general number, which was not correct. I told him I would not discuss with him whether or not I have credit card debt nor any amount. To this point, he had sounded to be a somewhat meek guy working on his English skills. When he learned I was not to be an easy mark, he was able to speak quite clearly, with a slight Indian accent, and said, "Well then, you should shut up and get off the phone!" and hung up.
