I pressed "0" right away and a young guy came on the line, something about card service. I interrupted and asked for a company name and phone because I'm on the "Do Not Call" list. He asked why I need his number, and I told him because they continue to call me I'm giving the info to my attorney to prosecute them.
He replied with, "F<C& You! See you in hell" and hung up on me... What a cowardly little boy he is. He is terrible at his job, and surely still lives with mommy...
Received a call indicating 305-368-8821 and "Florida" or (likely a VOIP connection), asking if I wanted to lower my credit card interest rate to 6%. I have received these calls before and was fairly certain I was being contacted in a scam of some nature. When a "real live person" came on and asked how my day was, I asked what the name of their organization was. No answer, just a discnnect. These are obviouysly scammers, or should I cal them what they are...THIEVES.
It's one of those "this is Lisa calling about your credit card account, there's no problem with your account but we can help lower your interest rate..." scam deals. If you try to call the number back, you'll get a beep and a fast busy signal, meaning the call didn't really go through to anywhere. I've simply added the number to my blocklist on my smartphone. Scammmmmmmalicious.
