Said his name was Jay Brown, ID 8023 from Cardmember Services. Said that my credit score was high, my interest rates were higher than they should be, that I make my payments on time and usually pay more than the minimum. He even mentioned Experian. Said that he was authorized to reduce my interest rates on my credit card to 6% or lower. This was not a balance transfer, not opening a new card, no cost to me. They make their money from the savings that I get on the card?? They have a contract with the banks to lower interest rates?? So he sent me to his financial supervisor, Diego Fernandez, who tried to explain to me how they get paid. The phone numbers that they provided me to call and verify that they were who they were included 407-745-1617 and 941-312-2236, both of which were reported on this site. I tried calling my CC company on the other line, and even tried calling AT&T's fraud dept, but I wasn't able to get ahold of anyone while I still had the spammer on the phone.
