It has been take down! and three times over in the past 2 years. The queen mum of the Rachel/Megan scam got 17 1/2 years in 2012 and her husband got 10 years for abeting. She had begun the scam in 2008 after a previous "Rachel" was busted. It takes quite a while to build a prosecutable case against these low lifes. Since she was taken down, another Rachel/Megan jumped up and also was busted in the later part of 2012. Since then, a couple more have jumped up. This scam is so profitable that I doubt that we will every shut all of them down. When one goes down, another jumps up. Education is the key and the Government and news media could do a better job to make people aware of these sewer suckers. But they are too busy screwing up the country to bother.
Caller ID said Florida Call. Another version of the Rachel call to "lower your interest rate" Identifies herself as Lisa but does not give any information on what company she represents. No option to opt out. Another scam.
Just received a call from this number to lower my interest rates - pressed 9 to speak to a rep. "How are you today?" To which I answered Please take this number off your call list - she kept asking, nastier and nastier, How are you today...then hung up. I tried dialing the number back and it says cannot be completed as dialed - out of country?
