Got a phone call saying I was being investigated by the Canada Revenue Agency in a criminal matter re tax fraud. I did not believe it, but wrote down the number anyway. The CRA would not be calling from Florida, LOL. I feel sorry for people who fall for this. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK. It's a scam or phishing operation. It is not the Canada Revenue Agency.
Voicemail saying there is a criminal investigation against me for tax fraud. Why would a Florida phone number call me when I'm in Canada? Can you say SCAM???!!
As of 2017-02-02 this number 305-396-2324 is being used by people claiming to be in the Investigations Department of Revenue Canada, but who actually are fraudulently threatening dire consequences if you do not send money. More likely to be in India than Florida

Got a call, voice message, saying that a Revenu Canada criminal investigation was open on me, and to call back at this number. The guy answer Revenu Canada! Said I got a weird call, he asked if I was Eric, said no, said sorry, we won't bother again. Seems like a fraud. Seems a fraud.
