Do Not talk to these people, Do not let them have log into your PC. No computer company is going to call you about error messages. Tell them that you don't have a computer.
Caller is trying to trick you into installing malware on your computer, claiming they were Microsoft. When I identified myself as security professional individual immediately hung up.
Caller said your computer has virus, when tried to inquire about him and the company, he came to his original level and started using abusive word. Of-course they are scammers who don't have even basic etiquettes to interact with customers and started abusing when tried to inquire about him.

I was called by the same number and the caller proposed the same scam to me. I did not give him any information and kindly told him I did not need his help. I was checking my bank statements and notice a random purchase of 225 dollars of something I do not remember purchasing. I searched the product name and it took me to a website that had some info about a man who "works for Microsoft". Idk what to do or how to get my money back but I'm going to have to cancel my card now. :(
The called said "I am from Windows and we are having some error messages from your computer"....I asked how he knew my number and he replied 'you are using Windows and we have all information about you since you use Windows"....He was heavily accented and it was difficult to understand him, but I asked if he was going to ask me to allow him to remotely log into my computer and he said 'yes'. I told him no. I was seeing no error messages on my end.
