Left a threatening message that I had 24 working hours to get back with them or I would be taken in by the local cops. I had always thought the IRS sent letters. Please do not give them any info. If you are really concerned you can contact the IRS through their 1-800 number.
Same as all the above calls. Left this number for me to return call. This is not the first time I have received this call from the same number.
Will not return call as I know it is a scam. Too bad these people can do this to all of us. It happened to my aged mother-in-law and scared her, but she did not do anything until she talked to us, for which I am very grateful. If in doubt call the IRS and ask questions...or whoever they claim to be. There are so many of the scams, one doesn't know without investigating.
I have 24 working hours to call a 305 area code back or my local police will take me into custody regarding the serious charges being filed against me by the IRS.
Plot twist. It's was all said in improper English.
