Just got a call from them as well. Showed up as "Unknown". They left a 37 sec. robotic voice mail that gave this number. It started late I guess because all it said was to get the IRS case number, to call them back. Sad thing is, I'm sure they will still get some scared people to give the money even after all the times we have been warned about this kind of scam. After all those Nigerian princes still get people to do it !
IRS scammers -robotic message left stating IRS is filing suit against me! Oh no! (Sarcasm). So tempted to call back and when they say I owe like $2,000.00 (without giving any personal info) or some other low amount I say "OMG really??? $2,000.00? Well that's a relief because my records show I owe like $15,000!!" Then when they get good and excited I laugh (maniacal laughter) and shout FU scammer and hang up! .... And then they cry! A girl can dream.....
Received a message from "IRS" saying that IRS was filing a law suit against me. robotic call. also received same call from this number. Same message different robotic message.
Received the same robotic "you are being sued by the IRS" from this number. I called it back from a land line and someone that sounded like a teenage kid answered... "Internal revenue service" I just hung up... [***] scammers!!
