I just recently have reported this robert Wood and William Black to the FBI and my local Police department because I fell for their bs and actuallu submitted a payment to them. They also asked me to fax a statement stating who I was the last four of my social and my payment arangement to their attorney's office. I also fell for this and tried to fax the information because he was able to tell me all of my personal information, and come to find out the phone number 302-269-9936 is an invalid number. He then gave me his "personal" fax number 206-202-5619 that was not in this country. Thats when I started getting suspicious. So I then started to research these numbers and found that it is a fraud collection company that has purchased all of my personal information from an online payday loan company I had recently tried getting a personal loan with. This payday company SOLD my information to anybody! I hope that these people get caught!
these ppl are scammers and they have all your information. the funny thing is they are indian and they change their name to be american names. they claim they are investigators. well NOT really. poor things, they need a real job. some accounts they have are ligit and the rest are fony. so if you get a call from them you can check your closed account to make sure they have the right information. so far. i get calls like this almost every two months. they are idiots
Rcvd a call from a man saying his name is Ofc. William Black, and that I am a bad person because I did not repay a payday loan from 2007. I checked with the payday loan company, and they showed I did repay the monies. When I called the man back, he was irate saying I was a bad person, and that I should give him my current address so he can report me to the police so they can sue me. I hung up on him, and have not heard back from him since.
I got a call from 305-423-7436 from a man named Mark Santoas stating he had a warrant for me arrest for fruad. from a payday loan that was deposited into my account the end of septemeber 2006 hwever that account had been closed in august after doing some investigating thru the bank, internet, and the local police this was found to be a scam. I had an investigator from the local police office call him and talk with Mark Santos the investigator told him to leave me the hell alone that he was running a scam and so far no call back from these scamming idiots. Good luck. Mark Santos stated he was from the Legal Affidavit office google it see what happens first thing to come up is a scam report. the police were very surprised they had tried to scam someone my age (25). as normally they go after elderly people. I think its the payday loan companies selling our information to scammers and thats how we get these calls. my one piece of advice is go to the police they will call the scammers and the calls should stop. Good luck and god bless!
