I just received a call from "305 433-6948" at the company I work for in our Legal Dept. A woman asked for my boss (a lawyer) and said she was calling from Jason Hadley's office. I told her he was on a conference call and asked what it was in reference to. She replied it was regarding documentation she sent to my boss. I said I can take your number and have him call you back. She gave me a different number than what was displayed on the caller I.D. (305-433-6948). She gave me 786-523-0648. My boss tossed the message.
Our law office has received several call from this number, asking for someone named "Carl Sanders" who does not and never has worked for us. The caller then asks who the attorney in house is. When I tell them, they say they want to "talk about your website." In the past, I've said that the attorney was not available and asked to take a message. They've always hung up after that. Today, out of sheer curiosity, I told the caller that I was the person who handled the website. He went into what *I think* was supposed to be a sales pitch for some product, but never specified what the product was or what it did. His spiel was so full of "um" and "uh" that I could barely understand what he was trying to say half the time anyway. I told him that we weren't interested and he got really pushy and demanded to make an appointment with us for a sales pitch. I asked him "isn't this a sales pitch?" and he hung up on me. Very weird.
Got a call today and I know they don't know the attorney because they called her a "he" and couldn't pronounce the last name. Told him she was not in and asked him to leave a message, he said he would just email. I do believe I have gotten calls before from the same place out of Florida.
just received a call from above number asking for Bob which happens to be one of my employer's names. Oddly enough though I dialed the number and got a voice mail saying this was Jason Hadley from On the Map and to leave a message. I didn't this time because I am sure this is a telemarketing call..
