got a call from 305-434-4079 and the guy said his name was officer brown with the dept of law investigation, he said the issue at hand was urgent, and he needed me or my attorney to return the call, and he didn't want to discuss anything over this voice mail but if i called him back he might be in a position to help me out, said get back to him on his call back number of 305-434-4079, and if i didn't return he would wish me luck and escalate the situation.
SCAM!!!! They have called my number several times in a 24 hour period. They claim I have a lawsuit in the amount of $9,000.00 pending and if I dont sent them money ASAP they will sue me. After the 4th call in 1 day I called the FBI they advised me to file a report at www.ic3.gov which is internet crimes. Do not give these people any money! After I filed the report they called me again I advised them to stop calling me and I filed a report with the FBI. He called me a mother F***** and hung up!
i have been getting the same scam. it is numerous phone calls daily from this number and a few others saying the same thing.... that they are a "lawfirm and that i must send them money or there will be very bad results and they wish me the best of luck". i was confused because who talks like that and what do they want?! so i called back and they refuse to tell me who they were but insisted that I send them money. i told them that i am reporting them all to my local authorities. they cussed me out and hung up. i did go to the police station and filed a report against them. the officer called them and they hung up on him too. THIS IS A SCAM! BE CAREFUL!
They have called my work everyday.. I do not answer and they leave the threating message so I called them back and kept calling and wouldnt' say anythign did this for about an hour .. same indian guy accent.. got mad cuz I kept caling and wouldnt' say anything so told me to suck his @## and all sorts of other obsene stuff. I have a connection in the MIami police department who is tracing this number to a physical address... as we speak... gonna go question them.... ahahaha..
Someone calling himself Tim Williams with a thick eastern accent left a message on my cell phone voice mail, naming a person who is not me. "Tim Williams" claimed to be from the Department of "Law and Investigation" calling about a serious investigation of my social security number. He rattled off a number (not my actual SS#, but maybe the person he thought he was calling???). He said his superior officer wanted to question me and warned me not to disregard the message. If I did disregard the message he wished me luck as this very serious matter unfolded on me.
1) How is it that "Tim Williams" speaks like he was born in India?
2) Who ever heard of the "Department of Law and Investigation"?
3) What legitimate investigator leaves someones Social Security number in a cell phone voice mail system, especially when it answers in the wrong person's name?
LMAO!!! Thank you guys for posting this info! This has been an awesome day now. These people called my company looking for one of my employees claiming a serious matter involving her SSN and a lawsuit. Apparently they have been harrassing her all week. The man that called named himself Robert Cambos from the Attorney's Office of Jesse Conner. I don't have caller ID here but the guy gave me his contact info (like an idiot). These people called the wrong office today hahaha. I encourage anyone getting calls from these guys to do like me and call them back ALL DAY LONG with different names and voices. Have fun...try out your Scottish or Spanish accent since you can't understand their English anyway. I confirm they curse and swear at you when you harass them back (can dish it out but can't take it?). Poor guys...might as well change your phone number because I'll be calling as much as I can when I need a good laugh. Maybe we can overload their phone lines with enough callers like Anonymous does with ddos attacks via the internet
