i just got a call same scenerio they have wrong ssn and state that they have 3 counts against me and then i hu on them. they left very threatening messages. i called police department and then police department confirmed they are scam. [***]
Strong accent, not very good english skills. claims to call from a sheriff county dept with a very "american name" like "officer Gafon William or Jason (i couldn't understand what he had said). stating accusations that don't really make sense. they say its in regards to an old debt back in 2005. I don't owe anybody anything and they have been calling me for a year now. harassing me at work and refuses to provide any documentations to the alleged debt. apparently doesn't really understand the american way of collecting a "true" debt. Scam.
i received several calls from this number and they state that they will block my ssn and if i know what is good for me that i need to call them back or i will be arrested in 20 min
i have recd a several calls from this number at work and on my cell phone. thick accent and sounds like he was in a warehouse and couldnt speak english and took 10 mins to get out message. Gave a fake name James White threating that if i dont call them back that i will have to deal with the situation as it unfolds on me. THis is a scam and have been dealing with them for a year and they call about every 3 to 4 months. do not give them any money. it is a scam.
these knuckleheads called me today, with a very thick accent. trying to get me to make a payment on a "loan i never had" saying that it was very important that i call them. no way Jose. i really believe that a few years back i made the mastake of paying these fools (i did have a few loans out) but i requested verification upon receiving my payment but i never heard from them. wont happen again!!!
