Caller claiming IRS will give me a fund but I have to wire money to receive it....But I will receive it all back

I just got this call today saying i have to send them $250 & it will be refunded to me. They'll stay on the phone until they receive the funds and then they'll release the money. Once you bust them in their lie they get real defensive and try and sell the whole "this is not a scam" story....lol so i told them do a deposit into my account which was a "prepaid card" all of a sudden i hear "oh you'll get the money faster with WU or MoneyGram....

Recieved call saying it's the IRS saying I was selected random to recieve a  $7000 refund for just filing my taxes. That mony can be recieved by my bank account, direct deposit to account or a prepaid credit card. My mom said its a scam , who would just give you $7000 for nothing . The IRS always send something in writting and give you correct numbers.I was also given a confirmation.....scam,scam!!!beware!!!

This number just called me stating I have $7000 "free" gov grants , from a random selection. It sounded to good to be true and they starting to say I needed to wire them $250 to "federal bank" and they would stay on the phone the whole time until I receive the money. Bullllll!! Then when I told him about this obvious scam he gets angry and tells me he's not repeating himself again until I'm at the closet western Union..... Scam, scam,  scam be aware
